This is an extremely rare watch made with an ultra lavish case set with precious stones. It is Swiss made and was made for the Turkish market
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is jewelled to the centre. The movement is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a silver hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has a few unusual touche marks inside the back cover.
The case is one of the most lavishly decorated silver watches I have seen in over 30 year of dealing with pocket watches. Both sides have applied silver and gold wire work in many different styles including around the edge of the case also and around the stem. The case is then set with pearls, diamonds, yellow diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. The case is of the highest quality and is in 100% mint condition
Dial – the cream coloured enamel dial is in the Turkish market style with green enamel numbers and a white star and moon with red enamel background in the centre. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 53mm wide x 18mm deep
