Movement – this is a gilt full plate 15 Jewel Model 1857 lever movement, signed “Appleton Tracy Co, Waltham Mass, Foggs Patent (and Patent in smaller text on the winding wheel bridge)” 778834. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a top quality 3oz Coin silver case by Waltham. The case has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open to 45 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has large gold hinges and is decorated with floral engraving and engine turning and is in 95% mint condition – a superb case
Dial – the white enamel dial has a superb pair of blue steel fleur de lis hands and is signed “American Watch Co”. The dial is in 99% mint condition
