Movement – the gilt ¾ plate 7 jewel movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA” # 18515234. The movement is in 95% mint condition – small marks on the winding wheels
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated hunter case by Keystone USA, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops opens to 10 degrees when you press the winder in; you then lift the lid manually to the full open position. The case is decorated with coin edged sides and engine turning and is in pristine mint condition – this case looks unused
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Elgin” The dial is in 99% mint condition – tiny marks only
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a period leather box lined with velvet and silk.
