This pocket watch was made in Switzerland by the Record Watch Co and was sent to England where it was sold. The watch has clear assay marks for 9K gold and also Birmingham hallmarks for 1925
Movement – the good quality nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Record Watch Co, 15 Jewels, Lagarosa A, Swiss Made 2 Adj”. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in an unusual case, which has a hinged back and bezel. The watch movement sits in a metal ring housing with stem wound and this is hinged to the case. The case also covered by a metal cover which gives protection to the movement. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 80% mint condition – several light bruises and marks but still a very good presentable watch.
Dial – the white enamel dial has bright blue steel hands and is signed “Swiss Made”. The dial is in 95% mint condition – a small mark on the 10

The watch is stem wound / stem set.
The watch comes in a period leather box lined with blue velvet and silk
