This movement has a good balance and spring but the balance only swings for a while and the movement will not tick
The movement is an open face, stem wound / lever set
The movement does not come with a winder.
Movement – the ¾ plate nickel movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, 21 Jewels, Adj 5 positions” # 398832.
The movement is in 95% mint condition – a small marks only
Dial – the double sunk, white enamel dial has a partial set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton” and is in 80% mint condition – hairlines on the 1-2 and 7-8 plus a filled edge on the 9.
The movement measures 42.8mm x 7.9mm
