This is an English silver Vinaigrette, with clear maker's marks for NM – the well respected and highly regarded silversmith: Nathaniel Mills.
The Vinaigrette has a hinged lid and a hinged inner grill with pierced work and engraved flowers and leaves
The vinaigrette has carved edging on the front with floral engraving and thistle motifs. There is engine turning & floral engraving on the back.
There is also a suspension loop so that it can be attached to a watch chain or chatelaine
The vinaigrette measures 32mm long x 22mm wide x 10mm deep
The vinaigrette is in 95% mint condition – light wear only.
