This is a metal seal covered in a layer of gold and was made circa 1820
The seal has a shield base set with a particularly good example of a green blood stone.
The shank is decorated with carved flowers and is topped with a suspension loop
The seal measures 20mm x 11mm x 11mm and is in 90% mint condition – some very small areas of wear.
