This is a gold plated pocket watch chain or longuard as they are also known.
The chain is long and light and would have been worn around the neck.
It is suitable for a fob watch or glasses or a pendant or anything else which you would want to hang from your neck
The chain is made up of a long length of curb links with a dog clip at one end (at present a pendant is attached to ot) and a slide which you can position up or down the chain to create different looks.
The slide is carved in the form of a diamond and set with a paste stone
The chain, doubled up as a necklace measures 580mm long and the slide measures 10mm x 8mm
The chain is in 95% mint condition – a beautiful chain but the slide has lost its gilding on the back
