This is a Victorian gilt metal pocket watch key which was made circa 1850
The gilt metal key has a round body and is set with an opal stone on one side which has gorgeous natural inclusions and a bright green stone on the other.
The key is much smaller than usual and would be perfect on a charm bracelet.
The key has a carved shank and a simple suspension loop which turns 360 degrees
The key has a winding end which is a size 3-4.
The key measures 29mm x 8mm x 6mm
The key is in 90% mint condition – there are some small areas of tarnish and loss of gilding
