This is a Swiss pocket watch made for and sold by Bravingtons and used by the British government during WWII
The watch is working well but has not been cleaned or serviced by us and is sold with no warranty
Movement – good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and is signed “15 Jewel, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 95% mint condition – excellent condition
Case – the movement comes in a base metal open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case is engraved on the back GSTP,S 05427, Bravingtons, London and also has the broad arrow British government mark. The case is in 70% mint condition – quite pitted on the back which obscures markings
Dial – the silver paint on metal dial has old luminous hands and numbers. It is signed “Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition – small marks and loss of paint in the hands
The watch has a good plastic glass
The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
