This is a Swiss pocket watch made for and used by the British Army in the Second World War.
This watch works well and keeps good time but has not been cleaned or serviced by us.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and “ 433, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 95% mint condition – light tarnish
Case – the movement comes in a metal open face case, which is marked with military markings on the back GS / TP S, 037738 plus the miliary crow foot arrow. The case is in 90% mint condition – a good case but there is an old sticker residue on the back which needs to come off
Dial – the black paint on metal dial has alternating luminous and white numbers, old luminous hands – they have lost their luminosity. The dial is is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a plastic glass which is loose
The watch measures 52mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set.
