This is a Swiss made pocket watch made by the Zenith Watch Company, made for the American Military circa 1917

Movement – the high grade gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement is jewelled to the centre and is signed “Zenith, 17 Jewels, Prima” # 2349223. The movement is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a silver case which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case is stamped with the Zenith logo inside the back cover. The back of the case is signed “Property of Corps of Engineers, USA, No 13605”. The case is in 95% mint condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has early luminous numbers and blue steel hands with luminous paint – part lacking. The dial is signed “Zenith” and is in 95% mint condition – light debris from the paint only

The watch is stem wound / stem set
