This wrist watch is running and will run for a full wind but the hands stop and catch on the seconds hand at around 5 30. Due to the wear on the case, I have not had it serviced; instead I am listing it at a cheap realistic price but please note it does not come with a warranty
This is an American wristwatch from the 1927. Please note that this watch is much smaller than watches made today.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, 17 Jewels, 987” 2257141. The movement is in 70% mint condition – some dark marks, probably from the inside of the back cover and scratches also
Case – the movement comes in a two piece 14K White gold filled case with a snap on bezel and back. The case has a curved back and engraved sides and bezel. The case is in 70% mint condition – some scratches and small prick marks on the back and what looks like solder on the inside of the back cover
Dial – the satin finish metal dial has blue steel luminous hands and numbers. It is signed “Hamilton”. The dial is in 99% mint condition – I suspect this has been refinished.
