This is a gilt metal seal made circa 1850
The seal has a round base carved with initials TH.
The seal has a carved base and a carved handle in the form of a claw terminating in a suspension loop. This claw would have originally held a stone ball.
The seal measures 29mm high x 17mm.
The seal is in 75% mint condition – the gilding has mostly worn away making parts dull and the ball is missing but this is reflected in the price
