Code: AM145
This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a mid sized desk seal
The seal is made from white metal
The seal has a rectangular base engraved with an armorial intaglio and the motto "Dum Spiro Spero" (while I breathe, I hope).
The tubular handle has a round aperture – to take wax perhaps?
The seal measures 61mm x 15mm x 12mm
The seal is in 95% mint condition – light wear only
