This is a VERY SMALL seal fob made circa 1850 and would make a lovely charm or if grouped with some other pieces, it could make a very interesting pendant.
The seal is made from metal with gold plating
The seal has a round base set with a an opal stone
The base is domed and has ornate carved edges. The seal has an ornately carved strut handle topped with a fancy carved suspension loop
The seal measures 19mm high x 9mm on the base – this is a SMALL FOB
The seal is in 85% mint condition – the plating has worn away giving the seal a brassy colour rather than a golden colour.
