We have just purchased a huge single owner collection of pocket watches. There are many key wound and 19th century Swiss watches. Normally I would sell these pieces on to other dealers but because of the volume - over 200 watches, I decided to offer them on our website. I have created 3 new categories on the website, Key wound Watches before 1850, Key wound watches 1850 - 1900 and watches under £200. The latter two categories are where the bulk of these watches will go. The majority of these watches will be under £200 and becuase of this, they will not come with a warranty as it costs us £100 - £150 to clean and service a watch in order to offer it with a warranty. Each watch in addition to the normal description, will come with a condition report detailing the performance of the watch. We will try and list as many of these watches each week so sign up for our newsletter which is sent out after we have been added 30 watches and these updates lists are an easy way to keep up to date with our new entries.
