This is a vintage pocket watch made by Hermes circa 1960.
I suspect that the watch has never been used as it is in the same perfect condition as when it was made. It comes with its original box, pouch and instructions
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Luxor, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition – flawless
Case – the movement comes in a gilt metal case, which has a snap on back.
The bezel has an inner chapter ring with 24 hour markings and around the bezel the cities and countries of the world and their position in relation to the International Date line in red enamel.
The case has coin edged detailing and a smooth plain finish. The case is in 100% mint condition – flawless
Dial – the champagne coloured satin finish dial has gilt baton numbers with gilt hands. The dial is signed “Hermes, Paris, Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a plastic glass – this has a tiny mark.
The watch measures 52mm wide x 10mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
