Fancy Gilt and Red Stone Set Pocket Watch Key. Circa 1850

This is a gilt cased pocket watch key made circa 1850 The shank is made from gilt metal with fancy engraving and has a carved suspension loop which rotates a full 360 degrees The key is set with an opaque red agate stone with bevelled edges. The key has a gilt winding pipe which is a size 3-4 approx The key measures 36mm long x 15mm wide The key is in 75% mint condition – worn and brassy in places, which is reflected in the low price.
