This is a solid 18K gold pocket watch key made circa 1850. It has no assay marks but has been thoroughly tested and is sold with our guarantee that it is solid gold. PLEASE NOTE that the winding end is metal, covered in a sheet of gold; this has a small split
The key us a perfect size for a watch chain or a charm bracelet and if grouped with a few other pieces would make a lovely pendant.

The key is in 85% mint condition – the carving and detailing is rubbed in places and a split in the gold over the metal winding sleeve.
