This is a gilt metal key which has an internal rachet, allowing you to wind in one direction only, thus preventing damage to watches with a delicate fusee chain.
The handle of the key is in the form of a bears head with lovely detailing . Behind the key curves to form a handle and is set with a red agate stone. The rest of the handle has carved detailing and a suspension loop. The key has long winding pipe which is a size 2-3. The key measures 49mm long x 7mm wide and is in 90% mint condition – the gilt sleeve on the steel winding pipe has a small split and bruises
