This is a gold cased pocket watch key – not solid gold.
The key has a round carved body and one side is hinged. This opens to reveal a glazed cover of a lock of hair. The hinged covered is engraved with tiny initials D McC
The key has a gilt suspension loop and a gilt covered winding pipe – a size 3-4
The key measures 31mm x 14mm x 3mm and is in 85% mint condition – the gilt covering on the pipe has an obvious seam and general wear and tear throughout
