This is a Swiss pocket watch made for and used by the British Army in the Second World War.
This watch works well and keeps good time but has not been cleaned or serviced by us.
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and “15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks
Case – the movement comes in a metal open face case, which has a screw on back and bezel and is signed “Bravingtons” The case is marked with military markings on the back GS / TP S, plus the miliary crow foot arrow. The case is in 50% mint condition – several rough pitted marks and the case needs a professional polish
Dial – the silvered dial has old luminous hands – they have lost their luminosity. The dial is signed “Swiss Made” and is in 70% mint condition – the dial is dirty and stained
The watch has a mineral glass.
The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set.
