This is a rare treen carved pocket watch stand
The circular base is decorated with circular carving. This supports a central column carved to look like stepped wooden discs – this seems to be made from one piece of wood but gives the first impression of individual pieces
This supports a conical pocket watch holder with circular carving and a front panel decorated with fine carving
The stand supports a pocket watch 50mm wide
The stand is 170mm x 70mm
The stand is in 80% mint condition - there are cracks in the wood from natural age related splitting
