These watches were retailed by Macys New York and were guaranteed for the lifetime of the owner. This particular watch was made by Electra, a subsidiary of Gallet
This is an open face, stem wound / stem set movement. It does not come with a winder.
The movement has a good spring but the balance is moving too fast and also suddenly seizes. It is not working properly
Movement – the highest quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement has a gold capped end stone, a gold micrometer regulator, gold capped escape wheel and gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “LaForge & Valentine, Lifetime Series, Fabrique Electra, 23 Jewels, 6 Adjustments, Swiss” # 78106. The movement is in 90% mint condition – small marks
Dial – the gilt metal dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Laforge & Valentine”. The dial is decorated with straight line engraving and is in 95% mint condition
