I have seen these types of keys before but never one so small and the level of detail in miniature is superb
The small oval gold key has a solid frame with scalloped beading – all set with miniature seed pearls. Each side has an base decorated with hair. One side has 6 flowers and the initials MM. The other a more elaborate larger flower with initials EM. The key is stamped 14K
The key has a steel winding pipe which has damage to the end. It could still be used and is a size 1 approx
The key measures 27mm x 18mm x 5mm and is in 95% mint condition – perfect condition had it not been for the winding pipe.
