This is a superb example of a pocket watch by the Swiss company International Watch Co or IWC, as they are also known.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate Cal 57 movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “Probus IWC, Scafusia, H7, 869409” and also numbered + 55231. The movement is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a white metal steel open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has Breguet type blue steel hands and is signed “International Watch Co, Schaffhausen”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral bevelled glass
The watch measures 51mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
