This pocket watch was made in Switzerland circa 1900 and was sent to England to be sold. It has London import marks for 1901
Movement – the good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damscening. The movement is signed “17 Jewels, 4 Adjts” and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold open face case, which has clear stamps for .750. The case has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case has a carved wavy bow and triangular shoulders. These and the back of the case are decorated with enamel. The case is also decorated with carved flowers in panels on the back and on the front and back bezels. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – a beautiful case
Dial – the silvered dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 44mm wide x 54mm long inc bow x 8mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a leather double fronted display box
