This is genuine Rolex pocket watch made in Switzerland and sent to England where it was cased and sold. The English silver case has hallmarks for Birmingham 1918
Movement – the high quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement is decorated with fish scale damascening and is signed “Rolex Lever, Swiss Made, Adj 3 pos, 17 Jewels” and is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The Dennison silver case has coin edged sides, engine turning and is in 85% mint condition – this is a presentable case but has small dents on the back and signs of wear but still perfectly acceptable
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 15mm deep
