The watch runs well but sometimes the winder (when you wind the watch) makes the hands move forward a few minutes - this will need adjusting.

This pocket watch was made by the Illinois Watch Co circa 1890 and was made for a retailer, Charles Stark of Toronto.

Movement – the gilt full plate movement has a lever escapement and 7 jewels. The movement is signed “Charles Stark, Toronto” # 1055011 and is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a coin silver open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has engraved sides and edges with a smooth plain finish on the back. The case is in 90% mint condition – there are some marks and scratches on the back and with some rubbing to the engraving on the back also.

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands with an outer 5 minute track and is signed “Charles Stark”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – some very faint hairlines between the 12 and 1 and on the 5
