This pocket watch is somewhat scarce as it was wholly produced in England. Normally watches at this time had an English case by Dennison or the like but housed a Swiss or American movement. This watch has an English movement.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Warranted English Lever, 7 Jewels” # 370108. The movement is in 90% mint condition – several small scratches and marks
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, made by WE Ltd, English Made, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and a vacant crest on the back. The case is in 90% mint condition – light wear only
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 16mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
