This is a large and chunky gold plated Victorian pocket watch chain and is a good example of watch chains from this period
The chain is made of a single length of large curb links and has a large T bar at one end and a dog clip at the other. The chain measures 270mm in length and the links are 7mm wide.
The chain is in 90% mint condition – there are some links which have small traces of metal coming through the gilding and tarnish also.
