This watch was working fine and keeping good time but now the hand setting mechanism is no longer engaging with the winder. The watch us still running fine but as you can’t set the hands, it is sold as NOT working and is sold as is
Movement – the model 1882, nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with two tone damascening. The movement has gold jewel settings and is signed “PS Bartlett, Waltham, Mass, 17 Jewels, Adjusted” # 17119777. The movement is in 95% mint condition – a good clean example
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case which has a screw on back and bezel. The case is decorated with an engraved floral decoration and engine turning with a smooth plain finish on the sides. The case is in 95% mint condition –a lovely crisp example
Dial – the white enamel double sunk dial has a full set of blue steel hands and signed “Waltham”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a plastic glass
The watch measures 54mm wide x 17mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set – note that the hand setting is not engaging
