This is genuine Rolex pocket watch made for the English market. The movement was made by Rolex in Switzerland and sent to England where it was cased in a silver case by Dennison with hallmarks for Birmingham 1913
Movement – the nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with fish scale damascening. The movement is signed “Rolex, Lever, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and front bezel. The case is decorated with coin edged sides, engine turning and a vacant crest. The case is in 90% mint condition – overall a very clean crisp case but there is a line across the back where something has rubbed against the case over time
Dial – the black enamel dial has unusual white enamel numbers and a sub seconds dial. The dial has old luminous painted hands, now having lost most of its paint. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 15mm deep
The watch comes with a vintage Rolex box
