This is a silver pocket watch chain which measures 220mm in length and the widest point on a link measures 5mm
The chai has rectangular links decorated with striped silver and niello enamel decoration, interspersed with silver gilt oval links. At one end is a silver and niello enamel dog clip; at the other end is a white metal bolt ring in the form of a boat’s life buoy – this has some tarnish. The chain is in 90% mint condition – some wear and tarnish on the bolt ring
