This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a solid 15K gold seal has a gold base and a gold on metal handle. The seal has been tested for the gold purity and is between 15K and 18K but please note it does not have any assay marks
The top quality shank has an square base set with a green hardstone engraved with the message Je Cache mes amours (I hide my love) in reverse.

The seal measures 20mm x 14mm x 12mm and is in 95% mint condition – a beautiful example in crisp condition
