This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a mid sized desk seal which has a large handle with a hinged top and a compartment to store matches – very useful to light the candle for your sealing wax. There is also a striker on the side.
The seal has a flat metal base with initial E
The seal measures 57mm x 19mm x 10mm
The seal is in 95% mint condition – light wear only
