Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool, Warranted English” # 162969. The movement is decorated with bright blue steel screws and is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Dennison Half Hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The front cover has dark blue enamel Roman numbers and the rest of the case has a smooth plain finish. The case is in 90% mint condition – light wear and tear only with some small marks on the front cover and light scratches on the back
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “T Russell & Son. Liverpool”. The dial is in 95% mint condition – light hairlines on the 5 and 9-10.
