This is a Swiss pocket watch which is much bigger than normal Swiss watches made in this period and would be classed as an American 18 size. This is a substantial watch and has a good weight to it and feels top quality when you hold it
Movement – the top quality gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a large silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The inner cover is signed “Paul Breton, Geneva, No 73608” The case has gold coloured hinges and a floral cartouche on the back. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of blue steel Breguet hands and is signed “Paul Breton, Geneva”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch measures 55mm wide x 17mm deep
