Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “I Mendelsohn & Son Cape Town, 15 Jewels, Non Magnetic, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in a large metal open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has turned edges and a smooth plain finish on the rest of the case. The case is in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial is signed “The Farmers & Miners Lever, I Mendelsohn & Son, 73 Burg Street, Cape Town, Non Magnetic”. The dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a thick bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 53mm wide x 15mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
