This is a project but a worthwhile one.
The movement has a broken balance, it needs a glass, hands and a winder. It is not working
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has 15 Jewels, a lever escapement and is signed “Tavannes Watch Co”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – cloudy stains
Dial – the white enamel dial is signed “Tavannes Watch Co” and is in 80% mint condition – a hairline above the signature and dirt plus no hands
Case – the movement sits in a gilt casing with a long thread. By pulling up on the winding stem, you can rotate the movement into the case and screw it down tight. Once the 12 is aligned with the neck, release the stem and this locks it in place. The gunmetal case is decorated with gilt quasi shibyama work with oriental dragons. The case has rust inside also.
