This is a Swiss pocket watch movement, probably Longines, made for the American market with a private label signature

The watch is a Hunter, stem wound / lever set

The movement has a good spring and balance

Movement – the good quality nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with fish scale damascening. The movement is signed “J H Leyson, Butte, Mont, 17 Jewels, Adjusted, Swiss” # 993364. The movement is in 90% mint condition – superb condition but missing the whiplash on the regulator

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “J H Leyson”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – a small chip and hairlines on the 4

The movement measures 42.80mm x 7.8mm
