This is a Swiss pocket watch made circa 1900
The watch has a push button quarter repeater function with a good clear chime for the hours and the quarters
Movement – the 15 Jewel gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a push bitton activated quarter repeater function with two hammers striking on the inner gongs. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light cloudy stains on the gilding
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case, which has clear silver marks for .800. The case has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The inner cover is decorated with miniature medals with exquisite detailing and is signed “Gander Watch, Montre De Precision”
The case has a smooth plain finish and the case is in 90% mint condition – superb condition with just light scratches and light wear
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Gander Watch Co” and in 80% mint condition – a few hairlines in the centre of the dial
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 52mm wide x 16mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
