This is a Swiss pocket watch made in the latter part of the 19th Century. This watch has a cylinder escapement and because of this we are unable to offer a comprehensive warranty on this watch as Cylinder watches have hard to repair movements. This watch is working and keeps good time but if broken or stops working, cannot be returned for a free repair.
Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a cylinder escapement and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a fancy silver case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case carved edges and floral engraving on the back. The case is in 90% mint condition – light wear only
Dial – the white enamel dial has egg blue enamel cartouches (raised bumps) for each number surrounded with a gold enamel border. The dial has a pair of beautiful gilt filigree hands and is in 95% mint condition – a small crack on the very edge of the dial
