This is a Swiss watch by Omega, made for and used by the British government during World War 2.

Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss” #9912275. The movement is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a nickel open face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The inside of the case is signed “Omega” and the back is engraved “GSTP, F053543” and is also engraved with a broad arrow British government mark. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – a light build up of fine surface scratches on the back and some nickel loss on the edges resulting in a brassy yellow finish

Dial – the white enamel dial has old luminous numbers and hands – long since lost their luminosity. The dial is signed “Omega, Swiss Made” and is in 99% mint condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 51.5mm wide x 13mm deep
