This is a Swiss watch used by the British government during World War 2.
Movement – the nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement is signed “3 ADj, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition – some light marks only.
Case – the movement comes in a white metal watch which has a snap on back and bezel, is engraved with a large government issue arrow on the back and GSTP, H17359”. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 70% mint condition – white colour has worn off the front bezel and sides and there are some bigger dents and bruises. This amount of wear is usual to find on ex military watches
Dial – the white enamel dial has a set of blue steel and old luminous paint on the hands and 12, 3, 9 and various 5 minute interval dots. The dial is signed “Swiss Made” and is in 90% mint condition – the paint has aged.
