This pocket watch was in Switzerland by the watch company Recta. The movement watch was sent back to England where it was cased and sold. It comes in a good quality English silver case which has clear hallmarks for London 1939
Movement – the gilt nickel movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Recta, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks
Case – the movement comes in an English silver Dennison open face case, which has a hinged inner, back cover and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – a good presentable case with only slight signs of wear
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in 100% mint condition
The watch is stem wound / stem Set
The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
