British WWII military pocket watch by Cyma c1940

This is a Swiss pocket watch made for and sold by Cyma and used by the British government during WWII

Movement – good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Cyma, Patented, 15 Jewel, Swiss Made, 352593”. The movement is in 95% mint condition – excellent condition

Case – the movement comes in a base metal open face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The case is engraved on the back GSTP,S  M88279 and also has the broad arrow British government mark. The case is in 85% mint condition – some marks and scratches common to military watches and patches of lost chrome on the sides; however still a very presentable case

Dial – the white enamel dial has old luminous hands and luminous numbers. It is signed “Cyma, Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
