This is a Swiss pocket watch made for and sold by Helvetia and used by the British government during WWII
Movement – good quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Helvetia, 32A”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks
Case – the movement comes in a base metal open face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The case is engraved on the back GSTP,S P46535 and also has the broad arrow British government mark. The case is in 60% mint condition – there is a round patch of metal coming through the nickel plating on the back and many scratches however like all military cases, still perfectly useable
Dial – the white enamel dial has old luminous hands and luminous numbers. It is signed “Helvetia Swiss Made” and is in 99% mint condition.
The watch has a mineral glass – this has three scratches
The watch measures 51mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
