This is genuine Rolex pocket watch made for the English market. The movement was made by Rolex in Switzerland and sent to England where it was cased in a silver case by Dennison with hallmarks for Birmingham 1919
Movement – the nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with fish scale damascening. The movement is signed “Rolex, Lever, Swiss Made” and is in 90% mint condition – some scuffs and marks on the winding wheels.
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case by Dennison, which has a hinged inner and back and a snap on front bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish
The case is in 90% mint condition – some small bruises and dents on the back
Dial – the black enamel dial has unusual old luminous enamel numbers and a white enamel sub seconds dial. The dial has old luminous painted hands, now having lost most of its paint. The dial is signed “Rolex” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 15mm deep
The watch comes with a vintage Rolex box
